Bayshore DIFD Softball Tournament
Bayshore is holding their 5th annual Bayshore Softball tournament in support of DIFD.
Several event sponsors and local businesses on board in support of the day- including a silent auction and a raffle.
BBQ that goes beyond basic burgers and hotdogs- pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches with all the fixings, fries, chips and refreshments!
Fore the Ladies
Sip, swing and support the Fore the Ladies Golf Tournament this summer at the Stonebridge Golf Course. Proceeds going back to DIFD.

Dan Rides the Perth 700
Follow along as Dan rides 700 miles (1100 kms) in a week out of Perth, Ontario in late May. Named the Perth 700, this is an informal event for cyclists to support their selected charity. Many of the cyclists are alumni of what used to be known as the 7 Days Ride in support of Pancreatic Cancer, coming from all over Ontario and beyond. Riders are self supporting and fundraising individually.
Dan has chosen to ride for the mental health initiatives for DIFD at The Royal.

Royal Oak Day
Community spirit is amplified annually on “Royal Oak Day” when each pub holds a charity event to raise funds to donate to an organized charity of its choice. Royal Oak Pubs as a group donates to fundraisers and charities such as Muscular Dystrophy Canada, The University Of Ottawa Heart Institute, LoveGives, and of course, DIFD. It’s no wonder the community feeling is mutually enjoyed and appreciated when it comes to having a Royal Oak in your neighbourhood.
