Paint it Purple 2026

On the weekends of January 24th-25th and January 31st-February 1st, 2026, the Nepean Wildcats Hockey Association will be hosting it’s 44th annual Do-it-for-Daron Competitive and House league girls hockey tournaments. In the past, over 200 teams have registered over both weekends, with attendees from all over Ontario coming to our Nation’s capital- spread out on the rinks, at the restaurants, the hotels- and many more local landmarks!

Let’s paint the city PURPLE!

The tournament has joined forces with DIFD at the Royal. DIFD initiatives align with the Nepean Girls Hockey Association’s commitment to building healthy athletes; both in body and mind.

Ottawa Law Classic 2026

The Ottawa Law Classic is returning for its seventh annual game taking place on Saturday, January 17th, 2026!

The Ottawa Law Classic is an annual charity hockey game played between students from the University of Ottawa’s Common Law and Civil Law faculties. It is their mission to bring Ottawa’s legal community together through sport in an effort to educate the next generation of legal leaders about the importance of prioritizing mental wellness.

They are happy to share that the Ottawa Law Classic is continuing the tradition of partnering with Do It For Daron (DIFD) and the Ottawa Gee Gee's Men's and Women’s Hockey Teams.

Thanks to the involvement of the Ottawa community, they have successfully raised over $55,000 in past years through the generous support of our sponsors and the Ottawa community.
